What is MicroNeedling?

Microneedling or Micro-Needling, also called Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), involves using a tool called a dermapen or dermaroller with tiny needles at the end that make little holes or needle pricks in the top layers of skin.

The purpose of this procedure is twofold:

1. The little holes from the needles create “micro channels” that allow a potent serum which type varies based upon each individual patient and skin condition and need, to penetrate and absorb into the deeper layers of skin to deliver more powerful results.

2. These tiny pinpricks act as a bunch of micro injuries which kick skin into healing mode and stimulates collagen and elastin production. This process plumps skin and improves the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, scars and pores as well as breaks down pigmentation and melasma deposits resulting in lightening, elimination and overall skin evening and brightening.

What to Expect:

First, a numbing cream to the patient’s skin.

Next, the practitioner will either gently glide a dermapen or roller (depending on the treatment protocol and or area of the face/body being treated) over the surface of the skin in a few different directions.

For the standard Microneedling Facial the process takes anywhere from 20-30 minutes. For Microneedling Advanced RF the process takes anywhere from 60-90 minutes.

You can expect some redness for up to a couple days afterward as a result of all the skin stimulation, but it subsides quickly as the healing begins and the results of more glowing, supple skin start to show.

To get truly effective results, you’ll need more than one treatment to continually build collagen and elastin.

Microneedling Facial

With a standard Microneedling Facial a comprehensive skin analysis is done by the treatment specialist where they will:

- Analyze Skin
- Address concerns
- Determine applicator depth & pin count to
best treat and achieve them.

A numbing topical agent is applied and rests on the skin for 20 minutes. During this waiting period a PRP Growth factor serum is prepared which will be applied to the skin during treatment. Depending on the condition of the skin additional specialized booster serums may be added as needed and allocated by skin type. Following the procedure a post treatment soothing mask fortified with biocellulose stem cells and active peptides is applied to the face to soothe the skin, promote cellular turnover and ultimate skin restoration. Post treatment one can expect to feel the sensation of a mild sunburn which will subside.

Advanced Microneedling RF

With Advanced Microneedling RF we combine our critically acclaimed dermal remodeling and skin tightening laser Sublime to our Microneedling procedure. In doing so collagen and elastin production is boosted by 60% having the added benefits of focused laser depth penetration, tissue and blood stimulation, and the immediate lifting, tightening, toning and contouring of the face that Sublime provides. Resulting in greater and fast acting results. The process begins with a comprehensive skin analysis where they will:

This is then followed by a full cleansing and exfoliation of the skin. The Sublime RF applicator is applied to the skin and treatment begins with areas of special note being targeted if needed. Following the Sublime treatment the skin is then cleansed and dried and the topical numbing agent is applied for 20 minutes. During this waiting period the Dermapen or roller applicator or applicators (depending on condition of skin and corresponding treatment method) are prepared as well as the PRP Growth Factor Serum to be applied to the skin during treatment. Depending on the condition of the skin additional specialized booster serums may be added as needed and allocated by skin type.
