e2 Ematrix Sublative Fractional Skin Resurfacing is a RF laser that utilizes a specialized applicator tip containing pore sized diodes which are precisely directed onto the skin in the form of a matrix. The application ablates tiny pore sized superficial skin tissue particles, this ablation removes old damaged tissue while simultaneously delivering a localized laser energy allocated to the precise depth necessary beneath the skins surface and into the tissue to target, heal and restore from the inside out. The tip is designed to leave enough healthy tissue surrounding the grid of ablation which promotes and stimilates the rapid healing and regrowth of brand new collagen enriched skin. It treats, corrects and elimintas:

Given it is an ablative procedure topical agents cannot be applied immediately following this process and yields a mild 24-48 hours of "downtime" by way of a visible post skin reaction. This reaction is mild resembling the redness of a minor sunburn which fades by the end of the day. The following day the dots of ablation are then visible but makeup can be applied 10 hours post treatment. The tiny dots of ablation scab over and naturally and gently fall away, shedding the old dead damaged skin and tissue and revealing restored, smooth, tight, radiant, Brand New, collagen and elastin abundant skin. That continues to improve up to 6-8 weeks post treatment. 

The e2 Ematrix is performed as the final step following the photofacial portion of the Genesis. It is then followed up with the final step of the cellular turnover infusion facial 1 week post.
